Sr Specialist Demand Planning

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Support the Demand Planning function by ensuring accurate demand insights, performance tracking and cross‑functional alignment across categories and channels. The role focuses on demand analysis, performance monitoring and inventory insights to support commercial decision making.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Review (Core Responsibility)

    • Prepare the monthly Brand Review report, including YTD and YTG category analysis.
    • Analyze performance versus forecast and plan, identifying sales upside opportunities and demand risks.
    • Identify excess inventory, slow‑moving items and stock imbalance across channels.
    • Support cross‑channel inventory reallocation opportunities to maximize sell‑through and reduce excess.
    • Participate in bi‑monthly in‑person Brand Review meetings with Marketing and Commercial teams, sharing insights and supporting decision making.
  • IBP – Monthly Process (Core Responsibility)

    • Support the monthly IBP cycle by providing demand performance insights, risks and opportunities by category and channel.
    • Prepare demand inputs, scenarios and supporting analysis required for IBP discussions.
    • Ensure alignment of demand assumptions with Commercial and Marketing inputs.
    • Track key outcomes and follow‑ups derived from the IBP process.
  • Demand Planning Support

    • Monitor demand performance versus forecast, budget and prior periods.
    • Analyze demand trends and category behavior to support forecast accuracy improvement.
    • Ensure data quality, consistency and timely availability of demand and performance information.
    • Collaborate closely with Finance, Marketing and Commercial teams.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to translate analysis into clear business insights.
  • Structured communication with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong ownership of recurring processes (monthly cadence).
  • Advanced Excel level (Must)
  • English B2
