Position: Sr. Manager, Surveillance LATAM
Location: São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil
Main Responsibilities
- Multi-Category Vigilance: Manage the end-to-end safety lifecycle for Cosmetics, Medical Devices, and Home Care products, addressing all adverse events or technical complaints.
- Regulatory Submission: Lead the triage and submission of Adverse Events (AE) and Adverse Incidents (AI) to regional authorities within strict legal deadlines.
- Market Representation: Represent the company in regional discussion groups and trade associations to influence and monitor regulatory changes.
- Quality & Audits: Implement regional quality processes, monitor Vigilance KPIs, and lead "Inspection Readiness" programs across LATAM sites.
- Cross-Functional Training: Design and deliver trilingual training programs for internal teams and partners to meet safety reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Higher education in a health field).
- Language: Trilingual mastery is mandatory (Fluent English, Spanish, and Portuguese).
- Regulatory Expertise: Deep knowledge of Brazil's RDC 406/20 and LATAM vigilance frameworks (Colombia, Peru, Chile, Mexico).
- Technical Skills: Mastery of AE Classification, Causality Analysis algorithms, and statistical Trend Detection. Proven ability to author PBRERs, clinical safety summaries, and SOPs.
- Digital Literacy: Expert proficiency in data visualization and executive reporting.
- Experience: Proven leadership in vigilance activities within pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or consumer goods industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Vigilance Databases (e.g., Argus, ArisG).
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools for automated triage and data analysis.
- Strategic soft skills: Crisis management, organizational digestion, and adaptive critical thinking.
