Overview
To lead the in-country Retail Operation and ensure implantation of Retail best practices, thereby delivering superior retail revenue and profitability and achieving Country Financial Plans. To ensure Crocs retail stores provide excellent consumer shopping experience through customer service, visual merchandising and store maintenance, thereby making Crocs retail stores a preferred destination for consumers and driving repeat visits. What You'll Do
- To manage performance of the retail network, including delivering revenue and profitability plans.
- To manage the retail portfolio, working closely with concerned malls and landlords, as well as through fleet reviews to determine required store open / renewal / close.
- To plan and execute retail manpower plans as per budgets, ensuring manpower efficiency, motivation and training.
- To maintain and execute a Retail Trading calendar, including new product launches, retail promotions and offers, Retail training, other key events/ festivals as well as competitive activities.
- To provide all required inputs and insights on retail performance to the key stakeholders*, to enable on going improvements in assortment, marketing and promotions, visual merchandising and store operations (including retail KPI’s).
- Represent the country in all reviews (daily/ weekly/ monthly/ quarterly, as per agreed meeting cadence) with Region and Leadership teams.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree prefer in business management (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Prefer Min 15 years of experience in retail sports industry, with exposure to international, multi‑market, or distributor environments.
- Experience leading retail operations and managing strong team engagement
- Fully conversant with retail best practices and deep understanding of the retail landscape.
- Deep understanding of consumer trends and behavior and the ability to influence/ partner with stakeholders to build actions that influence the same.
- Externally focused, with sound knowledge of competition and the ability to measure competitive activities against Crocs’ own efforts in relevant areas (of merchandise, promotions, Visual Merchandising, store locations/ openings etc.)
- Action oriented and deadline focused.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to run the business by the numbers.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- English communication skills to make communication with region.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and MS Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
