The Sr. Specialist Quality Data Analytics maintains master data integrity within the ERP system for ingredient and finished product specifications while building AI-enabled early-warning systems to detect process anomalies. You will design well-documented data models that integrate ERP and laboratory information systems to trigger risk-mitigating actions across cross-functional teams. This role is vital for bridging technical datasets with operational excellence, providing automated dashboards and insights that ensure manufacturing-ready formulations and robust production monitoring.


Responsibilities

  • SAP Data Governance: Maintains master data integrity for ingredient and finished product specifications (PDM & HUP) and leads the extraction and cleaning of quality data from SAP S4/ECC tables.
  • Manufacturing Intelligence: Develops AI-enabled early-warning systems to identify process anomalies, leveraging automated alerts to lead cross-functional teams in implementing timely risk-mitigating actions.
  • Data Engineering: Designs and aggregates complex manufacturing datasets from ERP and laboratory information systems into documented, actionable data models for the Quality organization.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Partners with Product Development, Procurement, and Analytical Services to ensure seamless nutrient data flow and provides insights to optimize product formulations for manufacturing consistency.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Builds automated dashboards to communicate technical SAP-derived trends and analytical findings to plant leadership and non-technical stakeholders to drive a culture of data-informed excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ERP Data Management or Data Analytics.
  • Proven experience building or working within data analytics and/or AI computing platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing actionable strategies from data-driven trends and potential quality issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or Professional Certification in Data Analytics or Data Engineering.
  • Understanding of food or pet food production facilities and associated Quality Assurance programs.
  • Advanced proficiency with data transformation and modern AI tools.
  • Acute focus on data integrity, specifically understanding how data errors in SAP translate to nutritional imbalances in final products.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $97,000.00 - $137,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
