We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer with an exceptional command of backend tech to join our dynamic team. As a Staff Software Engineer, you play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software systems. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions in accordance with project requirements and coding standards. • Take ownership of complex technical challenges and drive them to resolution, leveraging advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities. • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership, code reviews, and constructive feedback to support their growth and development. • Take ownership of several software components, ensuring their robustness, availability, and scalability. • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and reliable software systems. • Plan and execute projects, ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of software products. • Lead by example in adhering to best practices for software development, including version control, testing, documentation, and deployment processes. • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments, working collaboratively with operations and support teams to ensure timely resolution. • Contribute to the recruitment and hiring process by participating in interviews, evaluation candidates, and providing input on hiring decisions. • Star current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in software engineering, sharing knowledge and insights with the broader team. • Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings to contribute to the overall success of the team and projects.
