About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Store Person to load and unload our clients' freight, ensuring the product is received in a prime and quality condition. 

This is a fulltime role working on our Day shift starting at 4am  Monday to Friday, based at our Palmerston North depot.   

What you'll be doing 

• Assist with the loading/unloading of trucks
• Positioning pallets, checking and sorting freight
• Checking line-haul units are operating at correct temperatures before opening doors to unload.
• Ensuring both the chiller and freezer floors are clear every morning and any remaining items are loaded to the correct runs before departure
• Ensuring Health and Safety compliance – both personally and within the team

About You  

• OSH approved, up-to-date Forklift License
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience operating a Forklift
• Experience in freight loading in temperature-controlled environments – advantageous
• Keen understanding of inventory management and cycle of order fulfilment
• Experience working in temperature-controlled environments - advantageous
