Job Requirements

ROLE OBJECTIVE 

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst III will be a senior individual contributor responsible for driving APAC e-sourcing execution, complex RFQ management, supplier engagement, quote analysis, and contract management support. The role will partner closely with commodity managers and cross-functional stakeholders to identify competitive suppliers, support data-driven award recommendations, and coordinate the transition from Jaggaer to GEP for APAC sourcing activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES 
•    Lead complex RFQ execution using Jaggaer, GEP, or similar e-sourcing platforms for APAC direct material sourcing activities
•    Partner with commodity managers to define RFQ scope, supplier strategy, event timelines, data requirements, and award recommendation criteria
•    Prepare and manage competitive bid packages, including supplier invitations, bid instructions, clarifications, timelines, and negotiation support
•    Analyze supplier quotations, cost breakdowns, TCO elements, lead time, MOQ, payment terms, capacity, quality performance, and supply risk
•    Develop clear comparison summaries and data-driven supplier recommendations to support commodity manager decision-making
•    Coordinate with suppliers across APAC, especially China region, to ensure timely responses, complete quotations, and resolution of open RFQ questions
•    Support and coordinate GEP implementation activities, including UAT, process validation, supplier onboarding, user adoption, and stabilization after go-live
•    Maintain and improve sourcing and contract documentation, including contract validity, renewal tracking, compliance requirements, approvals, and audit readiness
•    Track and report e-sourcing KPIs such as RFQ cycle time, supplier participation, spend through e-sourcing, savings pipeline, and open action closure
•    Represent procurement with cross-functional teams such as engineering, finance, quality, operations, legal, and regional sourcing stakeholders
•    Provide guidance to junior team members and support the development of standard templates, process documentation, and best practices for APAC e-sourcing
QUALIFICATION / EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
•    8+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain operations, or strategic sourcing support, preferably in manufacturing or direct material categories
•    Strong RFQ execution and supplier negotiation experience, including quote analysis, supplier comparison, and award recommendation support
•    Hands-on experience with e-sourcing platforms such as Jaggaer, GEP, Ariba, or similar tools; implementation or UAT exposure preferred
•    Working knowledge of supplier contracts, documentation requirements, contract tracking, renewals, and compliance processes
•    Proficiency in Mandarin and strong English communication skills for regional and global stakeholder interaction
•    Strong analytical, project coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
•    Experience working with APAC suppliers, especially China region, and ability to manage supplier communication independently
•    Good understanding of direct material sourcing, cost breakdown analysis, TCO concepts, supplier qualification, and sourcing governance
•    Ability to manage multiple RFQs, timelines, stakeholders, and escalations independently with minimal supervision
•    Strong communication and collaboration skills in a matrixed, global environment, with ability to influence without direct authority

•    Ability to support digital sourcing transformation, GEP adoption, process standardization, supplier onboarding, and continuous improvement
