The Strategy & Digital Manager is the primary architect of the plant’s future-state operating model. This dual-purpose leadership role is responsible for orchestrating the site’s five-year strategic roadmap—aligning capacity, sourcing, and "Funding the Growth" initiatives with long-term business objectives—while simultaneously spearheading the plant’s Industry 4.0 transformation.

As the site’s central strategist and digital gatekeeper, you will bridge the gap between long-term operational planning and a digitally-enabled shop floor. By leveraging operational & advanced analytics, digital tools, and emerging technologies, you will drive a data-centric culture that optimizes production, minimizes waste, and builds future-ready technical capabilities across the entire workforce.

 

Responsibilities

Plant Strategy & Operational Planning 

  • Lead the five-year plant strategy process, ensuring a robust roadmap is in place to meet organizational growth and performance targets.
  • Lead and coordinate short and long term capacity planning and road maps aligned with strategic sourcing and cost savings initiatives.
  • Maintain factory capacity utilization models following the release of monthly forecasts.
  • Partner with Division Network Operations to drive the timely and accurate collection of plant volume data for Budget and Latest Estimate (LE) reviews
  • Develop and drive strategies for product and material portfolio simplification to improve plant performance and resilience.
  • Lead and Coordinate the Funding The Growth Program to achieve savings targets (Coordinate Brainstorming Activities, Projects, go / no go decisions, benchmarking)

 

Digital Transformation 

  • Develop and execute the plant-specific digital roadmap, aligning global/divisional/Plant initiatives to transition the plant from traditional to digital operations aligning with the key pillars of Industry 4.0.
  • Act as the central gatekeeper for all plant-level digital requests and technology needs.
  • Partner with plant functional leads to evaluate digital opportunities based on ROI, operational pain points, and technical feasibility.
  • Drive the cultural shift toward digital ways of working through structured training, communication, and building a network of digital champions.
  • Enforce an "Adopt-First" mindset, ensuring global or division tools are utilized before any local "self-service" development begins.
  • Drive the utilization of both operational advanced analytics at all levels in the site to optimize production, minimize waste, and improve process efficiencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or analytical discipline.
  • 8+ years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience.
  • Experience using strong analytical skills and working knowledge of databases and spreadsheets.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, Planning, Quality, Safety, or Finance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven supply chain domain knowledge (process, systems, and data) with solid operational experience in demand or supply; end-to-end experience strongly preferred.
  • End-to-end supply chain experience covering planning, logistics, manufacturing, and/or customer service.
  • Experience with ML models and/or cloud architecture.
  • Formal certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM or equivalent Agile certifications).
  • Experience working in a global matrixed organization and/or with global functional roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated experience driving large-scale change management and digital adoption with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with SQL/Python for data manipulation and analytics.
  • Experience integrating GenAI/LLM into business processes.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum and project or product lifecycle management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex data to all levels of the organization.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $124,000.00 - $174,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
