The research work of the Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications - HHI focuses on excellent research and innovation. We are world leaders in the research of mobile and optical communication networks and systems as well as machine learning, computer vision and the compression of digital video. As part of the Sustainet project, we are developing sustainable, energy-efficient network technologies that drive the digital and green transformation. The goal is to create innovative solutions that enable an environmentally friendly and high-performance digital infrastructure—from 5G networks to smart grids that integrate renewable energy. Be part of change

  • Design of digital graphic content in line with the corporate design for various communication channels (logo, business stationery, publications, website, social media)
  • Production of print media (flyers, brochures, posters, etc.)
  • Design of visualizations of scientific content (e.g., infographics)
  • Editing of photographic content (e.g., employee, product, and event photos)
  • Video editing, motion design for infographics, etc.

 

What you contribute

  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) for print and digital media
  • A strong sense of corporate design, typography, layout, and visual consistency across various channels (print, web, social media)
  • Ability to visualize complex (scientific) content in an accessible way, e.g., through infographics and schematic representations
  • Experience in image editing and optimization for various applications (web, print, social media)
  • Creativity combined with a structured approach to work, as well as an understanding of target audiences and communication objectives

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

 

The weekly working time is 20 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
