Job Summary
Holy Cross Academy is seeking a full‑time Custodial Aide for summer help only. The Custodial Aide is responsible for supporting the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of school facilities while supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas
- Assist with routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Support set‑up and break‑down of spaces for school events and activities
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate staff
- Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with custodial and school staff
- Support the mission and values of Catholic education
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Reliability, attention to detail, and professionalism
- Commitment to supporting Catholic education
Employment Status:
Full‑time, hourly position
