Supplier Quality Engineer  (F/M) 

Up to 8550 PLN gross / month

Location:

The role is based at Jana Rolbieskiego 2, 85-862 Bydgoszcz Poland. Work is based on-site with possibility to work remotely occasionally). 

  

About the role: 

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will work in a team environment with suppliers, develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in meeting all customer requirements. You will collect root cause analysis and provide corrective feedback to prevent line stops due to supply issues. You will manage the customer specific requirements and offer technical support to suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring that the products produced by suppliers, meet quality standards required, to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction, whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to. You will maintain the robustness of product builds following new product introductions to ensure continuity and improvement in supplier capability. 

  

About your responsibilities at SPX Flow:

 

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our suppliers deliver high-quality products and services. 

You will: 

 

  • Qualify, audit, develop and monitor suppliers across your region.

  • Partner with Sourcing teams to onboard and develop new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost and delivery expectations.

  • Manage the PPAP process for new parts and supplier changes.

  • Track supplier performance using scorecards and data-driven insights.

  • Conduct supplier quality audits and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

  • Lead supplier corrective actions (SCARs), root cause analysis and improvement initiatives.

  • Support suppliers in implementing quality controls, improvement plans and best practices.

  • Deliver supplier quality training and promote continuous improvement.

  • Monitor and report key supplier quality and performance metrics.

  

About you: 

  • 3+ years' experience in Supplier Quality within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience auditing and managing supplier quality performance globally.

  • Ability to read technical drawings.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards and inspection methods.

  • Experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement and problem-solving tools such as PFMEA, 8D, 5 Why, A3 and Kaizen.

  • Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

  • Comfortable interpreting technical drawings, specifications and engineering requirements.

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and measurement techniques for quality verification.

  • Very good knowledge of English (minimum B2-C1) and fluency in Polish.
