Could you be the full-time System Engineer in Villeurbanne (69 - France) we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your system engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a young, multidisciplinary, and motivated team, contributing to shaping the future of mobility by developing advanced solutions for Perception systems supporting driver assistance up to full train autonomy.

You’ll specifically take care of conceptual design, including system models, design studies, interfaces, and prototypes, but also support the validation strategy for prototypes.

We’ll look to you for:

• Analyzing, clarifying, and confirming input requirements and needs
• Defining and maintaining system specifications according to applicable models (OCD, RS, AD, ID, PD)
• Carrying out conceptual design, including system models, design studies, interfaces, and prototypes
• Supporting the validation strategy of the mock-ups
• Ensuring the follow-up of detected issues and necessary corrections
• Promoting Alstom’s Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

• Degree in engineering or a master's degree with significant experience in hardware and/or software development
• Experience in system engineering (architecture and interfaces)
• Knowledge or interest in perception/autonomous systems, or the industrialization of a solution over a complete lifecycle using an MBSE-type methodology
• Ability to communicate clearly and openly with various internal and external stakeholders
• Flexibility and willingness to travel for short or long-term assignments in France or abroad
• Attention to detail, team spirit, and customer satisfaction-oriented
• Comfortable with new technologies and tools
• A valid driving license
• Fluency in both French and English
