Job Purpose

Key Accountability Areas

  • Support start up, testing, and commissioning activities across DMF, UF, SWRO, BWRO, CEDI, GTMDO and chemical injection units.
  • Support pipeline flushing, hydrotesting, and pre-commissioning activities.
  • Monitor plant parameters, record operational data as per OEM guidelines.
  • Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pumps and dosing systems.
  • Assist in chemical preparation, dosing calibration, and system flushing.
  • Carry out routine cleaning of strainers, cartridge filters, and dosing lines.
  • Inspect pumps, vacuum pumps, blowers, valves, actuators, and instrumentation for proper operation.
  • Monitor chemical storage levels and support safe unloading and transfer of chemicals.
  • Perform backwashing, air scouring, and CIP activities for DMF, UF, and RO systems.
  • Inspect and replace cartridge filters, check SDI/turbidity, and ensure pretreatment integrity
  • Track critical process parameters and water parameters to ensure optimal operation of the plant to avoid any concerns of scaling & fouling.
  • Calibrate online conductivity/resistivity, pH, ORP, DO, CO₂, and flow/pressure instruments. Conduct routine grab sampling: conductivity, silica, DO & Sodium and reconcile with online analyzers.
