What you`ll do

Seeking a candidate to design, build, and maintain custom SAP S/4HANA applications focusing on Clean Core principles.

Key tasks include using RAP/CDS, RESTful ABAP Programming, and OData to develop cloud-ready extensions, while ensuring performance optimization and system compatibility during upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows) using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP.
  • Implement extensions using modern ABAP Cloud development models (RAP/CDS) to ensure Clean Core compliance.
  • Create OData services and APIs for seamless integration with SAP BTP or external systems.
  • Design technical solutions in partnership with the functional team and the business.
  • Support daily business requirements in alignment with the global Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within the Private Cloud environment / S/4HANA, providing technical support.
  • Perform code reviews, optimize ABAP code for better performance, and maintain high standards for technical documentation.
  • Ensure the reliability of production systems by adhering to IT standards and governance processes.

 

Required Qualifications-

  • Master’s or similar degree in computer science, engineering, business information technologies or related fields.
  • 8+ years of relevant ABAP development experience
  • Strong experience in Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, and ADT (ABAP Development Tools).
  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Private Cloud, including knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 integration
  • Familiarity with ABAP Cloud and "Clean Core" extension approaches.
  • Experience with interfaces (IDoc, RFC, Web Services) and OData services.

 

Preferred Qualifications-

  • Exposure to SAP BTP and cloud integrations.
  • Should be flexible and adaptable to new technologies

Knowledge on SAP Cloud Platform, SAP API, Python, Google Cloud Platform
