The RoleAs a Technical Lead / Engineering Manager, you will lead a dynamic, cross-functional squad of several talented developers and QA engineers, both remote and in-office. You will oversee the delivery of end-to-end, scalable solutions using .NET and C#, managing the software development life cycle, and contributing to the strategic vision for the squad's domains. Additionally, you will participate hands-on in software development, ensuring technical excellence and helping drive the team's success, without becoming a bottleneck. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Prior experience in an engineering management or a tech lead role is a big plus, but it is not required, as we offer coaching and support to help you grow into this position. Responsibilities• Work with the engineering team to design and deliver solutions in a microservice environment, ensuring best practices. • Collaborate with the product manager to prioritise features that align with business goals. • Oversee and participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and adherence to standards. • Engage in hands-on programming regularly to stay current and contribute to the team's technical work. • Remove organisational obstacles and foster communication with other teams to streamline delivery. • Guide the team to achieve ambitious delivery targets that bring value to our customers. • Follow up on the usage and performance of deliveries and their maintenance. • Experiment with Agile methodologies to refine the development process iteratively. • Mentor team members, cultivate growth, and build a culture of continuous learning. • Coach and evaluate your team members to help them progress on our career ladder.
