Description: 

• Ensures physico-chemical confomance to standard and specifications required to meet regulatory and customer specifications, plant quality systems and business objectives
• Conducts appropriate, reliable, timely and cost effective analytical tools and procedures on raw materials and other related materials of all GFS product categories to determine conformance to standards and specifications
• Implements quality assurance and improvement programs in the acceptance of raw materials
• Monitors trends of quality-related performances on materials, processes, products and services and provides timely feedback and technical assistance to client departments to meet quality objetives, improve processes and address quality issues
• Monitors the conformance o the physico-chemical section of the Central Laboratory to the analytical standards and related quality systems such as ISO 9000, FSMS 22000, LMS, GMP, HACCP
• Assists in managing the physico-chemical sections resources and sensory section are well-maintained, controlled and organized
• Ensure that the chemical and sensory lab is maintained and organized
