UX Researcher and Service Designer - Data & AI Products (Public Sector)

As a UX Designer, you’ll contribute to a product team building data- and AI-enabled tools, turning complex requirements, workflows, and information into experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and useful. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and users throughout the design lifecycle — from understanding problems and gathering requirements through research, information architecture, prototyping, usability testing, and delivery. The role is suited to a designer who enjoys solving complex problems and wants to see their work move from concept to production.
Responsibilities• Lead end-to-end UX design activities across discovery, research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery. • Translate complex business, technical, and user requirements into clear user journeys, workflows, and information architectures. • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and scrum teams to shape and deliver new product features. • Conduct user research and use product analytics and feedback to identify usability issues and opportunities for improvement. • Create wireframes, prototypes, interaction designs, and high-fidelity interfaces using tools such as Figma. • Validate designs through usability testing, stakeholder reviews, and iterative design cycles. • Design intuitive experiences for data-intensive and AI-enabled products while maintaining clarity and transparency for users. • Apply accessibility principles to create inclusive experiences for diverse user groups. • Present design rationale and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership. • Contribute to longer-term product improvements, including reusable design patterns and experiences that can support multiple agencies or user groups.
