Utility Code Compliance Officer IV: $27.40 to $30.14 hourly
Utility Code Compliance Officer III: $26.14 to $28.75 hourly
Utility Code Compliance Officer II: $25.01 to $27.51 hourly
Utility Code Compliance Officer I: $23.86 to $26.25 hourly

Positions are located at the Government Center/Viera/Travels Countywide. Work Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performs skilled technical work inspecting, investigating, and enforcing codes, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to fats, oils, grease (FOG), industrial discharges, and other inputs to the County wastewater system, and related health and safety requirements.
REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) years [60 semester or 90 quarter hours] of college-level credit with major coursework in Sociology, Psychology, Allied Legal Services, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Biology, Geology, Physics, or a closely related field PLUS:
Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted one for the other on a year for year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS ALL LEVELS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
