Your role
The main objective of this position is to perform in-depth analysis and checks on all types of investments in funds managed by FundPartner Solutions (FPS). The Valuer will play a key role in establishing and verifying valuation procedures, with a particular focus on Hedge Funds and Private Assets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, rigor, and a collaborative team spirit to analyze Audited Financial Statements and ensure the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
- Audited Financial Statement Analysis: Analyze Audited Financial Statements of Hedge Funds and Private Assets to ensure accurate valuation and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Drafting and Review: Experience in drafting or working on Audited Financial Statements is considered a strong asset.
- Audit and Client Requests: Respond to audit requests and client inquiries, providing detailed financial information or valuation methodologies to ensure compliance and client satisfaction.
- Risk Reporting Management: Manage risk reporting and conduct risk analysis through audited financial statements to identify areas of improvement or potential risks.
- Valuation Activities Reporting: Measure and report on valuation activities, ensuring excellent client service by providing accurate and timely reports.
- Back Testing Reporting: Present back testing reports to Conducting Officers or Boards as required, demonstrating the ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
Your profile
- Master's degree in Economics or Finance
- Fluent in french and english
- 3 to 5 years experience in valuation, pricing, or corporate action, with a strong focus on analyzing Audited Financial Statements of Hedge Funds and Private Assets.
Experience in drafting or working on Audited Financial Statements is a plus.
Experience in the audit of alternative funds (Hedge Funds or Private Assets) is also considered a strong asset. - Excellent knowledge of financial products and their valuation.
- Broad knowledge of funds regulation and fund administration.
- Experience with data vendors such as Bloomberg, Markit, ICE, Reuters.
- Proficient use of data and communication tools (e.g. MS Office suite, Business Object, Tableau, etc).
- Experience in the audit of alternative funds (Hedge Funds or Private Assets) is a plus.
- Experience with online collaboration tools and digital reporting platforms is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- High level of rigor and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Ability to present complex information clearly to senior management, Conducting Officers, or Boards, including back testing reports.
