Role Overview
Vice President, Commercial Strategy & Planning is a senior leadership role responsible for driving ADNOC Group’s commercial strategy, procurement planning, budgeting, and transformation agenda. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Group Commercial Strategy & Excellence, the role plays a critical part in enabling business growth, operational excellence, and value creation across the ADNOC Group.

Lead the development and execution of ADNOC Group’s integrated procurement planning strategy, aligning commercial priorities with corporate objectives and business growth ambitions.

Drive enterprise-wide planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities across CAPEX and OPEX procurement programs to ensure efficient resource allocation and execution.

Champion commercial transformation initiatives, automation, analytics, and process improvements to enhance procurement effectiveness and operational performance.

Partner with senior stakeholders across ADNOC Group to strengthen governance, optimize planning outcomes, and maximize value through strategic procurement initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate

18+ years of relevant experience in commercial strategy, procurement, supply chain, planning, or business management, including significant leadership responsibility.

Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and procurement operations, including contracts, purchasing, inventory management, planning, and performance management.

Proven ability to lead complex planning, budgeting, transformation, and stakeholder engagement initiatives within large and dynamic organizations.

Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage confidently with executive stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making.

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline, with professional procurement certifications such as CIPS considered highly advantageous.
