Marie Curie is looking for compassionate, everyday people to join our Community Companion Team to be part of something truly meaningful - offering emotional support to people in the final stages of life and their loved ones.
Availability: 3 hours per week
Time: Flexible to suit your schedule
Locations: Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire or Pembrokeshire
Criteria: Minimum 18 years of age
What you’ll do:
- Spend time each week visiting someone in their home and offering companionship
- Share a friendly chat, enjoy a cuppa together, or simply sit in peaceful company
- Listen to cherished memories, swap stories, or talk about everyday life
- Give carers or family members a short, well-deserved break
- Be a calm, reassuring presence when it matters most

Please note, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this opportunity - Marie Curie will cover the cost of this. Driving and access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential
