Introduction:

Komatsu South Africa is looking for a meticulous and responsible Warehouse Operator with a high work ethic to join our team in Mogalakwena. The preferred candidate should have at least 6 months or more working experience within a warehouse environment.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Grade 12/N3

 

Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 months or more working experience within a warehouse environment.

 

Specific Knowledge Requirements:

  • Driver’s licence (Advantage)

  • Material handling.

  • Stock counts (perpetual, regular, and ad hoc).

  • Transport of Items/Stock.

  • Ability to follow procedures.

  • Sound basic numeracy skills.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inbound: Receiving, binning, packing.
  • Execute inbound material handling activities.
  • Monitor for damage and discrepancies in paperwork.
  • Collaborate with administration to ensure accurate documentation and system data.
  • Update systems and provide reports.
  • Outbound: Picking, transporting items to dispatch.
  • Execute outbound material handling activities.
  • Liaise with transport regarding dispatch of components/items, adhering to KSA procedures.
  • Monitor for damage and discrepancies in paperwork.
  • Collaborate with administration to ensure accurate documentation and system data.
  • Report consistently misplaced stock items.
  • Participate in and/or execute perpetual, regular, and ad hoc stock counts.
  • File all stock count sheets for financial audit review.
  • Collaborate with administration to ensure accurate documentation and system data.
  • Capture stock count results on the system.
  • Clear stock counts on the system after authorization.

 

Purpose of Job

This PRACTICAL / PROCEDURAL LEVEL position in the MINING and CONSTRUCTION/OEM INDUSTRY EXECUTES STANDARDISED WORK as a Storeman for Komatsu

4.Transport of Items / Stock – only licensed staff

5.Yard Stores (Isando Sales)
