About the role

We are currently looking for candidates to fill several temporary Warehouse clerk positions at our Distribution Centre located at 877 Hodge during the summer with the possibility of an extension until fall. 

 
What we are offering: 

• A day shift (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.), Monday through Friday

• A contract of two (2) to four (4) months, starting in May or later

Responsibilities: 

• Receive and sort new merchandise

• Verify if the received merchandise matches the purchase order

• Enter the contents of each order in the system

• Use a handheld unit to locate and relocate merchandise

• Separate and place individual items in cardboard boxes

• Apply address labels and tape to boxes

• Form cardboard boxes

• Perform any other task, as required

Prerequisites: 

• At least 16 years old

• Available full-time, including all weeks of July and August

• Able to work standing and on the move all day

• Have the physical strength required to handle boxes and move pallets on a regular basis

• Demonstrate strong concentration and communication skills

• Show meticulousness and attention to detail

• Have the ability to count accurately

• Perform tasks quickly while maintaining a high level of quality

• Being punctual, diligent & reliable

• Maintain a respectful and professional attitude at all times

• Work effectively as part of a team

• Warehouse work experience is an asset
