Winter Ice Road Foreperson - Nunavut Arctic Ice Road Project (Fly In - Fly Out)

MATRIX is seeking an experienced Winter Ice Road Foreperson for Arctic Ice Road operations, familiar with ice, land and lake crossings, to oversee the construction and maintenance of a northern winter ice road project in Nunavut. This is a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off or 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational position with fully remote camp accommodations. As the Winter Ice Road Foreperson, you will lead and supervise a multidisciplinary crew (including Multi-Operators, Snowcat Operators, Water Truck Drivers, and Fuel Truck Drivers) to ensure safe, efficient, and timely ice-road crossing operations. You will plan, coordinate, and monitor daily activities, enforce safety protocols, manage remote-camp logistics for your team, and serve as a critical link between field crews and the site leadership. All listed positions report to you.
