Position Title: Workforce Integration Consultant

Office Location: India (Remote)

Duration: Full Time

Work Hours: EST Hours

 

We are seeking an experienced Workforce Software Integration Consultant to design, build, and support end-to-end integrations between Workforce Software and enterprise systems such as HRIS, Payroll, ERP, Learning, and Finance platforms. The consultant will work closely with functional consultants, clients, and technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure integrations using APIs, web services, and file-based interfaces.

 

Desired qualifications include holding current certifications in two or more Workday modules (HCM, Compensations, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, Reporting, Integrations).

 

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design & Development

  • Design and implement integrations for Workforce Software modules including HR Import (E2G)Payroll ExportEC Payroll ExportSwipe ImportLabor DistributionTime Entry Import, and Custom Exports.
  • Develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, CSV/XML file exchanges, and middleware platforms.
  • Build custom scripts, transformations, and mappings to support complex client requirements.
  • Ensure integrations follow Workforce Software standards, security policies, and performance best practices.

Functional & Technical Collaboration

  • Work closely with functional consultants to understand Time & AttendanceAbsenceSchedulingPayroll, and Labor Distribution business processes.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical integration specifications and mapping documents.
  • Support solution design workshops and client discussions related to integration architecture.

Testing & Deployment

  • Prepare integration test plans and support unit testing, system testing, and UAT.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues using logs, error messages, and payload analysis.
  • Support production deployments, go-lives, and post-implementation stabilization.

Support & Maintenance

  • Monitor scheduled jobs and interfaces to ensure successful daily operations.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for integration failures and provide long-term fixes.
  • Handle change requests, enhancements, and version upgrades.

Documentation & Governance

  • Create and maintain technical documentation including interface specifications, mapping documents, and support guides.
  • Follow structured processes for version control, change management, and audit compliance.
  • Ensure integrations meet client security, data privacy, and compliance standards.
