YOUR TEAM
To support our development team working on a high-performance computing and integration ECU, we are looking for a motivated working student. You will gain first-hand experience in advanced automotive system development and become an integral part of an interdisciplinary team. Our focus is the development and optimization of vehicle software for a central ECU within the Volkswagen Group's premium E/E Architecture. The team works across the full spectrum of modern automotive engineering, including E/E Architecture, Automotive Bus Communication, In-Vehicle Diagnostics & Update, Safety & Security and Testing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support the team in solving complex technical challenges
- Contribute to system development activities across different disciplines
- Take ownership of individual work packages and technical topics
- Support requirements engineering, analysis, and documentation
- Collaborate with experts from different engineering domains
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled student in the area of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or similar field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
- Basic knowledge in Automotive communication protocols (LIN, CAN, Automotive Ethernet)
- Basic knowledge in Automotive E/E Architectures
- Basic knowledge in AUTOSAR or Linux-based systems
- Basic knowledge of one or more of the following areas is a plus: Vehicle diagnostics, Functional safety, Cybersecurity, Requirements engineering
NICE TO KNOW
- Remote work options within Germany
- Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years)
- 20 hours/week, up to 35 hours/week during the semester break
- Salary: 17,80€/hour
