About the role
Base salary from $138,710 per annum (plus super/overtime/allowances) - total package to be negotiated with preferred candidate based on skills and experience
We’re looking for a Works Delivery Manager (Electrical Services) to join our Cambridge depot, leading the planning and delivery of a portfolio of work across the network. In this role, you’ll make sure jobs are well scoped, clearly packaged and ready to go—so our operations crews can deliver safely, on time and to standard.
This is a great opportunity to have a direct impact on how work gets delivered. You’ll work closely with field teams, planners and stakeholders to drive safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes that help keep Tasmania powered.
In this role, you’ll:
- Develop clear, practical work packages that set crews up for success
- Keep work flowing between planners, schedulers and field teams
- Identify risks early and drive smarter, more efficient ways of working
- Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to plan outages and delivery
- Monitor costs and keep delivery on track
- Provide technical guidance to scopers and senior trades
- Support fault response and emergency work when required
About you
You’re practical, organised and confident working in a fast-paced operational environment. You understand how work flows from planning through to delivery and can bring people together to get the best outcome.
You will bring:
- Experience in work planning, scheduling or delivery in utilities or similar
- Understanding of electricity networks (overhead and/or underground)
- Strong coordination skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience using SAP or similar systems
- Commercial awareness and focus on efficient delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Leadership capability, including coaching others
- Relevant qualification (or willingness to obtain) and a current driver’s licence
