Job purpose
- The Hill’s eCommerce Business Account Manager (BAM) is primarily responsible for Amazon and Chewy accounts. The BAM’s focus is building profitable net sales, market share, share of digital shelf and distribution in the customers within their area of responsibility.
- In addition to being the primary contact, the ecommerce BAM is also responsible for implementing Hill’s RE & brand strategies to accelerate growth and market share while monitoring our 6P+A (Price, Promotion, Distribution & Visibility of our Products, POP Content, Ratings & amp; Reviews and Availability) performance with eCommerce customers to improve the Customer experience online.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities
- Leads change and proactively maintains a detailed understanding of the customers and the drivers of growth.
- Liaise with the analytics team, leveraging complex data sets and analytical tools to diagnose business opportunities and challenges
- Develops and implements joint growth plans and initiatives with the customer to achieve the commercial goals.
- Monitors customer performance to ensure commercial plans are executed in line with agreements and to the desired Hill’s standard
- Utilize measurement tools such as Tableau, Domo, Numerator, and Profitero to track eCommerce KPIs
- Leads and manages the annual budgeting process to forecast sales volume, GTN and A&P spend and to develop and deliver presentations to leadership and\or executive teams
- Manage customer payments
- Collaborates with Hill’s Commercial Team and eComm Marketing Manager to execute the Hill’s vet/pet channel brand strategies.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to initiatives aimed at customer growth

- Improvement eCommerce KPIs (incl. net sales), market share, 6P+A score

- You are an experienced sales person, have a proven track record, and are looking for a challenge in a growing team. You have rich experience in an eCommerce environment. You are service-oriented: you don’t work for yourself, but for our teams and our customers. You enjoy the idea of ‘building relationships’, and negotiating with/ selling to customers. Besides that, you have a pragmatic way of working and are not afraid to ‘get your hands dirty’. You are able to collect learnings from multiple initiatives and able to share these in a structured & practical way to the local teams
Required qualifications (knowledge and skills)
- BS/BA degree or equivalent required
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Tableau and Google Suite
Experience
- Possesses 3+ years sales experience with online sales
- Experience in customer management

Travel Requirements - 10 %
Compensation
Salary Range $94,770.00 - $110,565.00 CAD per year
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and work or office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive Canada Inc. / Hill’s Pet Nutrition Canada Inc. offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
