Project Overview:

The Project is a greenfield mining, process, material handling and ship loading project with a focus on sustaining production, minimise environmental impacts, strengthen long-term relationships with neighbouring communities and foster local economic development.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders’ involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor’s management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely.

Major Responsibilities:

Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor’s management staff within the area of responsibility.
Role supports on mid-size projects of medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders’ involvement.

Planning

Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
Coordinates the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.

Safety / Quality

Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements
Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.

Technical

Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Strong knowledge of electrical construction practices, subcontractor management, and field execution on medium to high-complexity projects.
Experience monitoring construction schedules, manpower, materials, and installation activities to support project delivery requirements.
Thorough understanding of electrical safety, quality, and compliance requirements, including adherence to drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.
Ability to interpret technical documents and coordinate engineering solutions with field teams, subcontractors, and construction management.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and constructability coordination skills to support safe, efficient, and successful project execution.
