About the Role:
The States of Guernsey are looking for an Administrative Supervisor to join the Outpatients Department/Day Assessment Unit based at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
Leading the team you will be responsible for the provision of services under the Outpatient's remit including off island services for Visiting Consultants. As supervisor you will be responsible for maintaining and providing clinic coordinator services, supporting the team and managing appraisals and 1:1's on a regular basis. Monitoring of wait times as and when required, ensuring patient appointments are within contractual obligations and meets service level targets, identifying service initiatives and managing their implementation. You will be required to represent the department at meetings and actively participate in operational plans for the provision of services now and in the future.
Experience of line managing a team would be beneficial. Knowledge of HSC systems including MaxIMS and the Radioloy Information System, good IT skills and organisational ability would also be desirable. Full training and support will be provided and further development training would be encouraged.
This is a small team where we ensure services are maintained to a high standard, where patient care is our priority. A personable and approachable demeanour is essential when dealing with patients face to face and over the telephone.
