Job Summary

A Lead will oversee a section of the production crew as the team leader.
 

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
• Design and implement 5 S projects.
• Ability to contribute to building a positive team spirit and coach others.
• Examining and inspecting work progress and equipment to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met.
• Completes all production and reporting daily.
• Ensures quality has been completed to the highest standard and safety procedures are followed.
• Substituting for workers during worker absence or to relieve work-congested areas.
• Assisting workers in resolving problems and evaluating performance.

Job Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a plant laborer or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have forklift and crane operator certification, or be able to attain certification.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Strong interpersonal and organizations skills.
• Using hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40 Ibs. on a regular basis.

• The hourly pay rate is $28/hr
